1. Oooh, love it! I used to go walking in that area nearly 40 years ago, but never got such a vibrant image – love it!

   1. Snowdonia is just like the Lakes…get a good day and its fantastic, but sadly more wet days than dry. I enjoyed a misspent youth in Snowdonia…the attractions being in this order – Climbing, Beer with the lads and then Girls (met my wife there and she hasn’t tired of me yet) 🙂

      1. Yes, I had some lovely days in earlyOctober, but many more soggy ones…it rains over 100 days per year in Blaenau so they say….

   1. and to think that on the left of this image is the site of what was one of the biggest slate mines in Wales….now a Heritage museum
