Cee’s Black& White Photo Challenge…..Fences, Gates and some Wooden Doors

Scot-20.5

Here is a mixed bag of doors and gates that we have stumbled across over the past year or so.  I guess they fit the bill for this weeks Black & White Challenge.

Gates that lead ‘somewhere’…..

Abbey-Door

Substantial ‘Keep Safe’ Doors or….

Two-Door-or-maybe-three

Ones in need of attention, once you have decided which to open!

Then again any old door can be recycled when needs must….

A March Memory…………………

PIPER-MASTERS-0109--Lagom

Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire

We have a rather static low weather front gracing us with its presence at the moment….. it does rather match the low grey feelings that many of us have in these trouble times.

So I did think, that whilst this particular March day some 10 years ago, reflects todays weather that it also added a splash of colour.  In a normal year, from Easter onwards, those berths along the quayside would be full to the brim with pleasure craft and holiday makers, not sure that will be the case this season.

There is some good news on the weather front… we are expecting an area of high pressure bringing some much needed sunshine….. and the better news is that it may well be with us for a few days.

Now that should bring a smile to our faces  🙂
