After a weekend of high winds, straight from the Arctic, the last of our Daffodils did take rather a battering. They are the last for this season. Gone are the Snowdrops, Crocus and Hyacinth as Spring marches on.
One benefit of having to stay local for our walks to the Park is that it does give me a chance to nosey into neighbours gardens. No need to look over this garden wall as the spring colours are overflowing for all to see….
This spell of sunny Spring weather we are currently enjoying continues. Today it has started to warm up, just a little, after the bitter winds of the past few days.
Change is occurring at a pace….. down by the Lake you can see just how much more leaf cover there is on the trees. Still away to go for some, but much greener all round…..and just as tranquil as a Spring day should be.
A tranquillity that is very welcome in these troubled times…
Please Remember ….
