In these trouble times it is nice to have the familiar around you…. and often these can be very little things.
Before turning off my computer yesterday evening, I looked out of the study window.
That haphazard glance brought an instant smile to my face. It was the items on the window ledge (and this is just one corner)… a right old hotchpotch, odds and ends, trivia, bric-a-brac maybe some would say rubbish. Well for me they are items I have randomly picked up as and when. Some items I know exactly when and where they came from others not to sure but would hate to loose them.
To me they are all memories, triggers of events and places, important at any time, but right now reminders of good times are even more important than ever….

It’s funny the things you notice in the ordinary when you look!

And no plan or logic in what you pick up as we go 😊

I’m the same way. Every time I walk along a beach, I’m always looking for some little treasure that others before me may have overlooked. A very pleasant habit, I’ve found.

and some of us just don’t grow up…… a school boy habit that lasts 🙂

If not doing things like that means growing up, I hope I never do.
