Well…. we got the rain we needed (I’ll not say wanted!). Heavy rain overnight and this morning. Eased a little now, so time for todays walkies with a reluctant Buster. We did get a quick burst of sunlight – just like a flash going off on your camera, blink and it was gone.
It is the season for Wild Foxgloves. Always hit and miss each season. They alternate each year between making leaf or making flower spikes. Not sure, but most of the spikes I have found this year, do seem rather stunted. Still nice to see and the Bees love them.
The rain has recommenced, the threat from the met Office is for more over the next few days. I guess we need it, like it or not.
But no matter what ever the weather……
