Moody Monday….well it is, if that description fits a day that started bright, soon turned wet, then produced just one or two brief flashes of sunshine.
The sun on wet leaves brought out a rich ‘spring like’ bright glistening green on some of our trees…
But the Horse Chestnut was rapidly losing its brown and golden leaves…
Fungi flourish in a dark corner….. no doubt many more to come….
But threatening clouds were never far away, clouds that did, for lengthy periods of time, switch out the sun just like flicking a light switch. Then pop the sun would burst out for another brief treat….
The forecast is not good for the remainder of the week, but we will wait and see. Bad weather does little to help one’s spirits and well-being in these strange and troubled times, so….
