Clear Sky…… on Skye

Clear skies over the Isle of Skye.  A rare autumn morning on this enchanting Scottish Island……  Early morning mist rising from Loch Greshornish and the prospects of a rather fine day……   and it was.  Memories

    • Jura, the island much smaller neighbour to Islay – a 10 minute ferry ride away, has a fabulous distillery and a range of aged Single Malts. They all go under the name of Jura with various brand sub names. Jura “Origin” or Jura “The Journey” (and several others dependent upon age) well worth trying for starters. Lagavulin was my favourite but my allegiance has drifted to Jura which is very similar in taste and aroma but I now find just that touch mellower (just like me in my old age!) But what ever your taste you would enjoy both islands 🙂
