Heavy frost overnight and a misty morning. Events again conspired against me getting out in the morning. I was though rather surprised that by early afternoon, when we did manage to head out, that the the ground was still white and frozen… and the mist still lingered, swirling in a very light breeze.
Lets just say it was cold but invigorating. It was also interesting to witness the constantly changing mist and the subtle colour changes, as the sun began to fall below the invisible horizon.
The Ice on the Lake is of course thicker than yesterday. The Gulls have flown but the Ducks huddle together in the shelter of lakeside bushes…
As the day drew to a close the sun did make a last bright spirited attempt at a sunset, nearly but not quite….
As always Buster enjoyed his walk, even if his paws were getting cold…. but like me he was glad to get back to the warmth of the conservatory and enjoy the last rays of the late afternoon sun 🙂
Now I wonder what tomorrows weather will bring us…that is apart from the realisation that its FRIDAY again (just where did that week vanish to?).
No matter the Weather…no matter the day of the week….
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other
