A sweeping bend in the River Derwent. The sun from yesterday afternoon returned this morning. It also brought a wind that was rising. The Derwent is still running high and fast after all the rains of January and February.
Debris washed down river building up when ever it gets a chance to snag itself to the bank.
Even though the River is rather wild, further down stream a bankside Angler manages to find himself a calm eddy in which to fish…. though I suspect its just an excuse to sit and watch and enjoy the mornings sun.
Not sure this sunny spell of weather will last…. winds from the South West usually bring rains, and this wind is gaining strength, so I reckon we will soon be topping up the Derwent once again.
No matter what the weather delivers…. Remember
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other
