August, and so far the summer has been rather good, with luck there will be many more summer days ahead, to enjoy the garden and to relax.

But slightly warmer than usual? At least some days setting heath records? I seem to recall some days around Europe with day temperatures above 40-42 C? And that is not quite usual in Europe?
Are we at the beginning of something . . . ?

32c our highest. But dry till the en of July when the rain took its vengeance….. we wait to see what the rest of summer has in store for us 😃

Strange is the word we use. Plants that normal are the productive stars have struggled whilst ones we have normal found wanting have flourished…. and as for the normal time cycle, we’ll that is just topsy turvy 😃
