Not a Bad Morning…..

Another sunny start to a September morning.  Forecasters say it will not last past lunchtime…. so best make the most of the mornings walk.

There is a change in the weather.  It is cooler, we have a very strong breeze which appears to be rising but overall it is a bright fresh invigorating morning.  It is also more apparent that autumn is on the way. So join me on a mornings walkies with Buster…

The blues skies started to turn grey, the River looked darker and there was indeed a damp feel by the time we headed for home, that morning glow had gone..

Heading for home….

Heading-Home

Heading South… Heading to their winter Home

Bird migration time.  Most have already fled our isles heading south to warmer climates, avoiding our winter weather that will arrive in the months ahead.

Usually at this time of the year we are on one of our northerly coasts. The last of the Terns will be joining this procession south,  a great sight to see .  Delicate birds, yet they have a long distance flight ahead of them, to the south of Africa and even beyond into the Antarctic…. What energy, but also what navigational skills they have…. then after a short rest its a return flight to our breeding colonies for another productive summer.

No matter where you are heading…..

Please Remember ….

Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other
