It is hard to believe that it is the start of August and we haven’t had summer yet! But is it my mind playing tricks on me? Isn’t it just a little early in the season here in England for big bright red bulbous Rose Hips to be on the bushes? Surely these should be appearing towards the end of September as the autumn approaches…..

Summers seem to be shorter and shorter for every year. I remember when I was a kid, the summers seemed infinitely. Now it’s just a blink of the eye and we have autumn approaching. A beautiful shot of the Rose Hips, by the way.

Everything seems to be (unnaturally) early this year. It’s surely a cause for some concern. What are we doing to this wonderful world of ours?

It certainly does feel like an Autumn shot, but beautiful regardless! We definitely had summer here. It felt long because of the dry spring and then a hot, dry summer. What extremes many of us are experiencing.

it is not a happy thought…not because autumn is bad but it is the loss of a summer!
