On Sunday the forecasters made their report….Rain, heavy at times with occasional downpours, there may be the odd bright spell! So the view over Loch Duich towards the Five Sisters of Kintail was more than a trifle moody.
But we did manage one slightly brighter moment further down the Loch at Eilean Donan Castle but it was only a brief rest bite.
So with a new week, Monday founds us heading eastward for a complete change of scene. On route we stopped to see how fast the waters flowing at the Falls of Shin. Spectacular but not as the recent rains would have suggested….
But make no mistake you wouldn’t want to take an involuntary dip in this spectacular “Spa Pool”!!
But for the next few days our base will be by this Sutherland beach at Brora, and with luck a brighter outlook to the weather forecast…we will see.

Hope the weather changes for the better, but at least you have incredible scenery to admire whatever the skies decide. MM 🍀
