A new month…October already. Sunrise on the patio seemed to indicated that the weather was going to continue as September had finished, warm, dry and sunny!
Even the woods had the same warm feel….with just a few more fallen leaves 
and another handy bench to pass the time and contemplate the month ahead… 
But as the day passes the weather has a change to it bland manner into something a touch more ominous… 
The forecasters tell us that the Jet Stream is swinging southwards, anticipated to land across middle England for awhile, heralding at least a week of storms and rain….I suppose all good things must come to an end sometime, and we have had a great summer to remember. Even so the thought of a major shift in the weather is not welcomed.
