Exploring Herefordshire……in Rain and Shine! (Part Four)

A Great Oak on the Berrington Hall Estate.

Much to our surprise and delight the sun broke through in the late afternoon. Late as it was it did give us time to enjoy just a few highlights of the Walled Garden in its late summer colours and part of the Parkland that immediately surrounds the Hall. Autumns colours are now starting to show but still in no hurry to shed the last of summers colourful jewels…..

So with the light fading fast our visit to Berrington came to a close with a drive down the magnificent Driveway….going, as we were, or arriving it makes a grand statement of Berrington Hall and Estate…
