A reminder of what we have missed this season
No bright Autumnal Red’s and Gold’s for us this year……. Well not in our part of Central England. We have enjoyed one of the driest, warmest Spring, Summer and so far Autumns on record so we cannot complain. The legacy of all that good weather is that Autumn this year has been muted in its seasonal colour. With the climate being so dry many leaves just never reached their potential, they dried and shrivelled and just fell from the branch. But that is nature, never predictable and always changing with of course the odd surprise thrown in for good measure.
The question now is what does winter have in store ?

I hope and wish winter not to be too hard this year. Beautiful photograph you captured dear David, the colours of autumn fascinate me in there. Thank you, have a nice weekend, love, nia

May be nature could do with a cold ‘normal’ winter! I can always dig out the thermals
