Just to remind us all that summer really wasn’t that long ago……time does seem to fly bye these days and maybe I am not alone in thinking that the time is passing like an express train as I spotted this sign on the web earlier today…..

Dressing the tree tomorrow and celebrating the solstice on Sunday. But already 3 poinsettia’s in all their glory of bright red leaves are lifting my spirits in these dull, very wet and grey and dark days. 🙂
About time running way too fast? It’s a miracle. Cannot be anytghing else. 😀 But the second picture says it all… It’s Friday and in my mind it’s Wednesday past. And I’m only 65. Does it get even faster when you get older? 😉

Now, there you go again, some part of you seeming to yearn for either bygone or future seasons’ treats rather than embracing and appreciating what’s on the plate for here and now. And you’re not alone. I’ve had a number of flashback posts myself, I must admit, and they can surely be very heartening–and great fun. On the other hand, since my not-for-a-moment-regretted retirement, I can expand the joy of the weekend to every day, and I do!
