Just add some appetising smells…….yummy
Not sure what it is about kitchens…..old ones in particular but they do have a magical appeal to many of us and act as a magnet for photographers. This one is the kitchen of Lower Brockhampton Manor, Shropshire.
( “THE ODD BOX”. The Odd Box , is especially for Odds and Ends, it is the file where I drop those images, that I have not processed earlier in the year as part of a series or project or simply lacked time at that moment, where they can be safely stored. I can then go back to them at leisure, explore and see what surprises await)

I wrote a comment on the ship against this post David and it hasn’t appeared. Suffice to say what a brilliant property shot perfect spread of light from a single source – I would be proud to have taken this myself.

Your comment on the ship did appear underneath it…thanks. As to the kitchen, well you have to work with the light you get given and that afternoon it was just right….it was also a shot where I opted for Auto White Balance which seemed to work very well and much better than the measured white balance or daylight.
