I do not know the botanical name for this variety of Camellia. What I do know is that each year it teases us.
One year it will be red with a few white tinges …..another year like this one it will be white with reddish pink tinges that show off the veins within each petal. Nor does it alternate one year to the next, as I say just to teaser us it makes up its mind as it bursts into life.
So for 2015…the colour is White.
