A Kaleidoscope of Colours….
INTRICATE….Craftsmanship
I am not religious but cannot help to be moved by the architecture and the drama that was created by Stonemasons centuries ago in creating places of worship. But if I had to isolate one feature in all these buildings that I admire most it would be the Stained glass (or Painted) Windows.
My contribution to this Weeks Photo Challenge :- https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_photo_challenge/intricate/
An intricate blend of stone carving, glass cutting and colouring and lead work to contain and separate the features. The fact that so many remain after all these centuries is a marvel in its own right.

I have just reposted this blog as I didn’t like the way ‘Reader’ displayed the original. So if you are one of the 21 who liked it first time round could you re-like again Thanks.

This is precisely the reason why I like visiting churches. To enjoy the filtering sunlight through the stained glass. Awesome capture.
