Back Home……
Bright welcoming Poppies in our garden were a nice Welcome Home message….
Always good to be home but also sad that a great holiday is over. We were lucky 10 days of more or less sunshine and blue skies…..true on some days it could have been warmer but after all the ups and downs of this springs weather it did look as if summer had arrived.
Note the as if……. because the sky is now dark grey, it is humid and the forecasters warn of severe thunderstorms. Well there is a good deal to catch up on so best get cracking.

This shot was against the light so the poppies are had a transparent look through the petals making them look even more fragile than they already are..
