Harvest Time….
The year is rolling along at a disturbingly fast pace….it seems as if spring was last month and now summer appears to be drawing to a close…..Just where has all the time gone ?

Please don’t remind me! You might as well say ‘hibernation time’¨:-)

Christmas 🎅 is my hate word….I think hibernation might be a better alternative 😊 But we do have autumn to look forward to.

Time flies, David. And yet there is still 4 months to go before Christmas / Yule when the trees are bare and show their magnificent bones. Think of centuries old oak trees, or fat chesnut trees. The Wheel of the Year keeps on turning. The first harvest is in August. The second one in September. And i am looking forward to all the riches coming off the land, like wheats and corn and oats and in September fruits and nuts. It ‘s still a long time before the wintertime and I look forward to one of those brilliant ‘Indian Summers’ that are also present in England.

It seems when one gets older one finds time flying by very fast. Oh to have just one sunny morning as a 6 year old in our garden. Time was creeping forward then. 😀
