Another oddity of the summer

Honeysuckle

Nothing strange in that….well not normally.  This particular climber in our garden flowers early, dies back then springs back for a second ‘bonus’ flowering.  This year much to our surprise it is now giving us a third showing of flowers and if anything the scent is even stronger.

Elsewhere despite the vagaries of this spring then summers weather we are enjoying those colours of a late summer in the garden. Agapanthus, Hydrangea, Sedum, Phlox, Mombrecia and of course Roses.

But without wishing our fragile summer away there are very early signs of autumn

      It’s getting more international here. I think it’s just marvellous!

      As for the honeysuckle – David , it’s even more beautiful than the Lotus flowers so it’s mu new wallpaper! When I will transfer to Windows 10, I am pleased to see I can keep doing that! 🙂

      2. I am now on 10….but had to un-install Norton Anti virus before I could get it to run….was a frustrating time till I got a computer geek to lend me his brains. So beware if you use Norton 😉 10 is now working fine….some small changes are irritating but overall pleasing

        1. I know. Thank you. There seem to be quite a lot of pittfalls with Windows 10. Good thing I am going on a course in October. I have a whole year for the transfer from Windows 7 to 10. Better wait a while maybe…
