February 23rd and Snowdrops have started to burst into flower and to cover the woodland floor. It is surely a sign that Spring is here and soon the woods and hedges will be full of colour once again.
These blooms are located in Dimminsdale, Leicestershire an area once more famous for its lime kilns and quarries, then it was known locally as Demon’s Dale….but more on that another day.
