…..Another From My Odd Box

Amongst the Scottish Borders…. Floors-Castle,-Kelso

Floors Castle, Roxburghshire

Storm clouds gather over Floors Castle.  Located just outside the Scottish Border town of Kelso overlooking the River Tweed. It has been the family home of the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe since 1721. Well worth a visit (and the Tea Rooms ain’t bad either) the Castle also gives you the opportunity to explore both the Town and the immediate area  whilst enjoy the flavour of a true Lowland Scottish experience.

Nor should you be fooled by the magnificence of Floors Castle and its glamour as it is the hub of a very busy estate embracing all the agriculture opportunities of such a rich landscape.

“THE ODD BOX”. The Odd Box , is especially for Odds and Ends, It is the file where I drop those images, that I have not processed earlier in the year as part of a series or project or simply lacked time at that moment, where they can be safely stored. I can then go back to them at leisure, explore and see what surprises await.
