Waste not…Want Not….
Fishermen’s Huts, Lindisfarne, Holy Island, Northumberland
Waste not…Want Not…….That would appear to be the motto in this part of Northumberland. These old wooden Fishing Boats must have past their “sell by” date for venturing out onto the wild North Sea. Now upturned, well above the high water mark they are now enjoying a second life as unique and character full Fishermen’s Huts.
So the moral for all of us is clear…Waste not..Want not.
