Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire,
The Old Mill basin on what is known as Mill Avon. It is actually a channel cut to divert water from the River Avon to the original water powered mills in Tewkesbury. The water from here flows over a weir and on into the River Severn. It is also a reminder of those hot summer days where just to be beside the water is cooling and calming.
( “THE ODD BOX”. The Odd Box , is especially for Odds and Ends, it is the file where I drop those images, that I have not processed earlier in the year as part of a series or project or simply lacked time at that moment, where they can be safely stored. I can then go back to them at leisure, explore and see what surprises await)
