Just to prove that familiar images have been used for generations as a means of communicating….and as a postscript to yesterdays posting….here is a Victorian Card dating published sometime between 1880 and 1895 by Raphael Tuck and Sons.
A simple illustration of the ubiquitous Snowdrop an illustration that over 100 years later is still as evocative…..
Towards the end of March I will have to see if I can dig up another Victorian offering as an Easter Greeting.
