Midday and here in Central England the temperature is 15C outside which must surely be the warmest start to November ever! Our conservatory records 26c.
The Dahlia have so far not had the frosts to kill the blooms, and whilst they are past their very best, still provide a great deal of colour to the garden and lots of pleasure.
It is not that long ago that the doom and gloom merchants were predicting frosts and snow before the end of October and dire warnings for a terrible winter to follow. Lets hope they got the latter prediction wrong as well.
