It did rain as forecast and for the most part it has been dark and gloomy day with strong winds now starting to push through. But we did get a short bright spell to make the walk with the dogs all worthwhile.
Here in the Midlands of England we have enjoyed a great summer and a record warm Autumn with water levels at drought level, so I suppose we must expect a wet season ahead to top up those water reserves.
