One for the Young Bulls…….

The brief was for a portrait of young Brunette and yes I was told she was quite a ‘looker’. Indeed she was, her brown hair was tinged with a little russet, her eyes were big and brown and lips were big and lush….maybe the nose was just a little large, but oh! the curves of those shapely horns!.  But she did pose patiently and enjoyed every minute of the limelight…….

Brown Longhorn

Yes, a really classy female Longhorn.  But not all her companions appreciated the attention she was getting.  One slightly more mature Platinum Blonde lady kept on muscling in, gently as only placid Longhorns can, she would keep pushing her wet nose into my arm and tilt her head one way then the other, give a little snort as if to say my turn and lick her lips to say ‘ready when you are’.  So what alternative did I have……she even gave a little smile!

    1. Longhorns…with yes there long horns do look intimadating but in truth they are the most placid of cows. Others I too find problamatic and now take detours around them. At one time you didn’t worry unless they had calves in tow…not anymore. KEEP AWAY
