There are familiar signs in the countryside indicating that Spring is on the way, young lambs born inside are now free to grace with mum in the March sunshine….
Further north in the county you could be forgiven for thinking that autumn was still with us. The frosts and snow have had little effect on the Oak and Beech leaves in Padley Gorge.
Rain of the past few days have filled Burbage Brook, brown with the peat coloured waters from the moors.
The Spring weather forecast is good so lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that winter is behind us.
