Having been impressed with all the images on various bloggers pages of the Washington Blossom Bloom I have been impatient for our Blossom to burst onto the scene. I have to say I am also just a little envious of the massed Washington Bloom, for even in full bloom our blossom will be no match.
Never the less, I was delighted this morning when our Cherry decided it would present us with its first flowers of the season….
It may not be spectacular…
just a humble display but we are just as proud of it!
Elsewhere in the garden Ribes (flowering Red Currant) are now starting to flower bring a hint of red and pink as a contrast to the whites and yellows that have to date been predominate in the garden.
AND Finally…..
Just to let those of you concerned about Carla. Well, we have been to the Vets this afternoon and she has been given the ‘All Clear’ …..mind you she is still seeking sympathy, and apart from the opp itself, has enjoyed the extra attention……but don’t we all.
