The weather forecasters reckon our brief ‘heat wave’ is coming to an end later to-day. That may be so; but golfers were out early making the most of the bright start to the morning…….They were obviously enjoying their game put I am afraid that I still think that ‘Golf….does spoil a good walk’.
Over in our meadows the wild grasses are growing with vigour, the glovers are budding, whilst this years crop of Buttercups is doing just fine. Just hope the blue skies will not vanish for too long.
The last day of May, June 1st tomorrow so I guess we can say summer is here.
31st MAY
I agree with you dear David… Walking is the best especially when the weather is nice… In here, today it rained again… like an autumn day… sometimes I feel so cool…. But heat waves to be here soon… Thank you for these beautiful photographs, especially in my dark and rainy day, how nice to watch them. Love, nia

Lovely buttercups and we definitely agree with you about the golf 😆 The rain forecast for here today ended up being something-of-nothing, luckily for us. Looks as if the Jubilee weekend will be a bit damp though, which is a pity.

I am in complete harmony with your and the Barkshire Post about the walk and the game. I gave it a fair try as a youngster but it just got in the way of the things around me that I preferred to pay attention to. Simply lovely buttercups and blue.

Agree with you, David, but it is not a big problem for me. The buttercup-photo is so beautiful!! (but I do not like them in my garden)

Lovely images! I love the way you captured the interplay of color and light in the first photo. Great shot.
