Just a Touch more……

Yesterday we had just a touch of Autumnal colour, to-day the 2nd October we wake to find that just a little more seasonal colour has been added to the landscape…..

As the clouds cleared the sun added sparkle to the woodlands, but don’t be fooled by the rich carpet of leaves, these are what remains of last autumns fall.

I suspect the leaves are waiting for the first frosts…. but Autumn colour or not quite yet, the woods are still a great place to explore on a bright October morning………

……..with just a little hint of what’s to come.
