It was a wild night last night, high winds and heavy rain. So I set off this morning to investigate any damage in the woods. Apart from leaves stripped from the trees there was nothing of concern. In fact it was a very pleasant early morning which inspired this shot. Then I remembered Photography bynia (http://wp.me/p1pNkX-4OG) often on her blog she has ‘painted’ her images…….in fact gets rather good at it and creates some new images. So here is my attempt on a shot from this morning….
Now by popular request ‘honest’ in answer to many emails seeking to know how our youngest grandson Ewan is doing. You may recall he suddenly arrived back on Mothers Day (U.K.) in March. So here you are ………
Now 7 months young, fit and healthy and as you can see he has two ‘tootie pegs’ and enjoys sucking his toes! Some say that he is nearly as handsome as his granddad but I couldn’t possibly comment!

Thank you. I am never too sure about ‘fiddling’ with images (a bit old school and think images should be created in the camera!) However I do play with Photoshop/Filters/Artistic….and this one was called Cut Out. Tried others bt this one has some added appeal. Glad you like it. perhaps I will try some more.

I think your attempt of making a painted image is excellent. The colours are beautiful and the posterisation works perfect for the image. And of course little Ewan is very cute.

Still none too sure about computer created images…..but I suppose I like this image for a change. Colour I think work well. Thanks for the feedback. I will tell Ewan next time we visit that he is cute I am sure it will bring a smile to his face probablt big enough to allow him to get ALL his foot in his mouth not just the toes!

That’s a great effect. I think using different effects alters the feeling and mood over the original photo. It’s fun to experiment.
