Rain has been the main item on this weekends weather menu……now rain always makes you wet but have you noticed some rain seems to creep under your wet weather gear, through the skin and into your bones, straight to your core – well that is the sort we have had this weekend, certainly not the best to be out and about in…..
I suppose we can be grateful that the snow that was forecast has decided not to grace us as yet. Watching the news it would seem that the eastern areas of North America have had blizzards and much, much worse. If the weather does go to a pattern then maybe we will get the tail end of those storms in about 6 to 10 days time.
I recall the quotation hanging above many outdoor outfitters that says “There is no such thing as Bad Weather you just need the Correct Clothing”…..well having dried of two soggy doggies, hung up the Gore-Tex to drip and the boots to dry I am none to sure I or the dogs agree!

Aw! The spring is coming, David. With a heavy rain like that, the snow won’t last for another week! Unfortunately we have no rains on this side of the North Sea,but we do have snow!
