There is a Sun up there!

Along with passing Asteroids there is indeed a sun up there in the sky.  Even though it was only a fleeting glimpse it was still very welcome after the snows and rains of recent days……a drop of rain still clings to the faded Oak leaf….

The light through the trees was refreshing and perhaps an indicator of the spring to come as it most surely must……

I did say it was a brief appearance and it was, the sky has now reverted to a milky white but at least there is no rain.  The forecast is that the temperatures are on the rise but I suspect that we have more cold weather yet to come.

So it was nice to get home for a warm drink and a touch of ‘indoor sunshine’ from the Amaryllis….and just like the sun outside they lift the spirits.

A-spot-of-Sunshine We might see more of the Asteroid than of todays sun as it passes overhead to-night…..that is if the cloud clears.

  1. Beautiful Amarylliss. Mine was bright red and had 4 flowers to the one stem. It was a joy for nearly 3 weeks in total.
