Love orange, warm, dominant and variable from rich dark reddish glows to more subtle dark yellows….so here is my offering of orange, all taken from the natural world about us and borrowing from the gold that makes autumn so colourful.
Dawn in Allestree Woods
Abandoned Millstone wheel, Padley Gorge
Just another Scourie Sunset, Scotland
I hope you like my selection of Orange…more apt would be Autumn Gold perhaps.

SPRING has arrived here, It will come to you too. It smells wonderful. Birds are singing, trees show suddenly green buds, daffodils jump out of the ground as do crocusses and I saw a magnoliatree showing off with the first flowers. Forsythia is blooming. Honest, it’s here so it will come to you too. And I love all photos but the mystical one with the abandoned mill stone the most…

That last one was a real winner, David!

I have orange pansies in a box on my balcony and yellow wild flowers of which the seeds must have blown them onto my balcony by the wind. That, and the green of the new leaves of the willowbranches from Easter 2012 are giving me hope for better days.
