DP Weekly Photo Challenge – Face

Snowy the Barn Owl_.jpg

He may well only be a young Barn Owl bit that face and expression already shows the wisdom that Owls are renown for.

DP Weekly Photo Challenge – Earth

At this time of year there is nothing more certain than the rapid changeability of our Spring weather…one moment sunny, then clouds roll in and squally rain showers sweep across like mist and drench everything. Then the sun comes out again and with it the chance of a rainbow.

It is this weather that breaths new vitality and of course new life to our EARTH.

Just an idea this DP Weeks Photo Challenge – Earth

DP Weekly Photo Challenge – Admiration

Admiration or just Faithfull …..I suspect both.  My friend Andrew with his two Bernese Mountain Dogs , Lara and Gretel with my rather dwarfed Buster.

All three secure my admiration for just how well they all relate to each other and even tolerate us humans.

DP Weekly Photo Challenge – The Future

Very definitely the past…BUT in Estate Agent Speech….this is an Investment Opportunity, a Property Ripe for Restoration to a Secluded Country Abode….plus several more pages of rich flowery writings.  Well you know what Estates Agents are like!

Well I guess you could create the future right here.

Just an idea for the Daily Posts Weekly Photo Challenge – Future.

Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge – Landscape (2)

Ryvoan Bothy, Ryvoan Pass, Cairngorms, Scotland

The Cairngorm Mountains are some of the highest and wildest mountains in Scotland and I suspect that at this time of the year still covered in snow.  These mountain passes that crisscross the mountains have for centuries offered relatively safe passage for travellers and cattle drovers.

Today it is the playground of mountaineers and this little Bothy at the top of Ryvoan Pass is able to offer basic (very) but very welcome accommodation in inclement weathers or for those on longer treks into the wilds.

Just thought I would add one more to this weeks Photo Challenge.  You can see what others have submitted on :-
