I Hope I Don’t Catch Anything…….

Early morning and this fisherman was enjoying the warmth and tranquillity of  the lake.  Some how I don’t think he was anxious to catching anything which might break the peace of the morning….I think it was all just an excuse to be out and enjoy the day…..

Dawn-on-the-Lake

We will tip-toe away and leave him in peace.

  1. I used to fish a long time ago – loved being on some river bank or windswept beach, hated killing the fish – typical towny attitude when it came to doing the dirty work myself

  2. The beauty of fishing is not in the catching (and most especially not the killing) of fish. I love to fish, but I rarely keep one; my hooks are barbless and I release them unharmed. As Sir Isaac Walton said, it’s an opportunity for perpetual hope. And just being there, as this fellow so aptly demonstrates.
