“30 days has September” or so the rhyme goes….and I do wish there could be many more as it really has been a September to Remember. From Flowers to Leaves, Butterfly’s to Bees, Trees to Lakes they have all made September a month…. not of autumnal change, but more a slow graceful decline of our summer. Now lets see just what October can do to compete.

By the way, I have nicked the one with the bumble bee as my wallpaper when the computer starts up. On the left all the icons and in the middle this wonderful, almost magical little beast. Thanks for providing me with a daily pleasure!

Truly great even down to the very last day…..I suspect that the true autumn will be early and over with quickly this year.

A wonderful set of photos! Every day the colour of the Derbyshire seems to change. A season of mist and mellow fruitfulness that I hope will linger yet awhile.
