Mist lifting over Allestree Lake
It may have been a misty start to the day but the sun cleared it away long before I was out and about. It really is a bonus bubble of warm and sunny weather for November. The tints of autumn are now more prevalent but still muted with green predominating….

Back in the garden the Lavender Bushes have started to shows signs of producing new flower heads with distinct purple tinges to their tips….this second coming is perhaps a bit late as the forecasters tell us our first frosts are on the way…

Our Solanum is also enjoy a bumper crop of Orange Berries. Usually we only get the odd berry or two, which soon drop, but not this year – a splendid show….

But it is that good old standby the Chrysanthemum that is really brightening up corners of the autumn garden with a mass of colour packed blooms….

Beautiful while it lasted, such spectacular November images! Our November has been cloudy and cold and most of the leaves are now on the ground. Snow will be coming soon, I’m sure!
