ARMISTICE DAY
“eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month”
Remembrance Sunday is when the nation pauses at the many large events across the country, to remember those who have fallen in conflict.
Today, the 11th of November, is Armistice Day, which marks the official ceasefire in the hostilities of the First World War assumes a lower key, but for many a more personal moment for those who have lost friends and family in conflicts, a time for more private moments of reflection.
