First Frost…..

25th November and our first ‘proper’ frost of this season….so I guess winter can now be said to have arrived. Mind you this morning may be the last frost for a little while as more rain is forecast as a weather front moves up from the south. The sun was a weak wintery sun but it still put a smile on folks faces and there was not a word of complaint about the cold!

Most of the trees are now bare. But the odd corner is still able to add some colour to the end of what has been a mild November…for how long these leaves will hang on I do not know it cannot be for many more days…..
