Skippool Creek on a Spring Tide
A few days ago I posted a shot of dawn at Skippool Creek**, an image that had lain dormant in my Odd Box. The image above was taken on the same day, just a little further round the same pier, with the sun a little higher and the Spring Tide much higher…..high enough to wash over the salt marsh and lift the old boat higher still on its moorings. The water much higher, high enough to keep me stuck for some time till the waters receded!
Altogether a very different feel and mood.

( “THE ODD BOX”. The Odd Box , is especially for Odds and Ends, it is the file where I drop those images, that I have not processed earlier in the year as part of a series or project or simply lacked time at that moment, where they can be safely stored. I can then go back to them at leisure, explore and see what surprises await)
