The trees are still bare, just a hint of bud and leaves. But at the end of what has been the first real week of Spring with sunshine and blue skies and temperatures reaching highs of 21c we have seen a marked changed to our surroundings.
Daffodils are fading, whilst Tulips are dropping their petals on their way out for another year.
But we can welcome the first of this seasons Primroses, Cowslips, Aubrietia and Blossom….we even had our first Butterfly – A Peacock.
Yep, overall not a bad Spring week and after the increased warmth and a moist soil things should start to rocket away….
