Wet and Windy

It does feel as if Spring has gone and left us…..

 The past few days have been far from Spring like.  Wet and very, very windy.  Newly formed leaves have been plucked from the branches , scattered across the woodland floor where they now mix with the both last autumns decaying leaves and a great many new seedlings that are starting to push through hoping to mature in to their own trees. Many will get trodden under boots others will provide nutrition for the woodland mice and insects….nothing really goes to waste.

With luck Spring will soon return
