Tide and Time….
Tide and Time wait for no Man
One of the oldest saying and as true today as ever. Time well that just passes us all bye. Tide, well it comes and goes at will only the pull of the moon exercising any real control over its movements. Each tide brings change, sometimes peaceful at other times less so……but every time it leaves its mark…to await the next tide.

I wish I could have captured both the sounds coming across the estuary….and of course the salty smell of the sea and the salt marsh. maybe one day! (-;

Ah… the tide. We are both on the outgoing tide, David. Hope it will stay just as calm and beautiful as in your photo. ๐

About “time and tide” In Venice we use to say “six hours goes up, six hours goes down” like the circle of life…
The photo is very beautiful.

Yes …we say the same ….though it is not a quote we hear as much today. Maybe too many folk are now disconnected from the natural world (-:
