My imagination is running away with me again–I’m envisioning a huge dragon climbing the left side of that dark mountain. Do you know if that outcropping has a name? There’s a similar structure on the side of Mt. Taranaki in New Zealand that’s called The Lizard.
The Dark Mountain is know as Fleetwith Pike. The slope leading upto the summit on the left flank is known as High Raven Crag whilst the one to the right is known as Low Raven Crag. The Pass you see to the left is Honister Pass and the ridge on the left leads to the summit of Dale Head.
